Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), a friendly representative from Safari Soul Journey will warmly welcome you and ensure a smooth start to your adventure. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Arusha, where you can relax and recover after your journey.

In the evening, you will attend a detailed safari briefing with the Safari Soul Journey team, where your itinerary will be explained, questions will be answered, and all preparations will be made to ensure you are fully ready for your safari experience.

You will be picked up at 7:30 am and after being familiar with the guide, you will drive to Tarangire (a 2-hour drive), famous for its diverse landscape. The park is well known for the abundance of ancient baobab trees & having huge herds of elephants hence providing unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families. We will do a game drive through the park depending on where they are reported sightings of animals.

Later on, you will go to the Tarangire River picnic site and enjoy the beautiful view of the river and animals while having lunch. Small monkeys and baboons will try to scare you off your lunch but there is nothing to worry about. After lunch, you will proceed with the game drive and exYou will be picked up at 7:30 am by Safari Soul Journey, and after being familiar with your guide, Safari Soul Journey will begin your drive to Tarangire National Park (a 2-hour drive), famous for its diverse landscapes.

The park is well known for the abundance of ancient baobab trees and huge herds of elephants, offering unique opportunities to observe the interaction between elephant families. During your game drive with Safari Soul Journey, you will explore different areas of the park depending on reported wildlife sightings.

Later, Safari Soul Journey will take you to the Tarangire River picnic site, where you will enjoy a beautiful view of the river and surrounding wildlife while having lunch. Small monkeys and baboons may try to distract you from your meal, but there is nothing to worry about.

After lunch, Safari Soul Journey continues with an afternoon game drive before exiting the park around 4:30 pm. After an early breakfast at 6:20 am, Safari Soul Journey will take you to the Ngorongoro viewpoint, where you will enjoy breathtaking, surreal views that will leave you in awe.

You will then descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Tanzania’s most remarkable wildlife destinations. Here, rhinos are among the hardest animals to spot, while most other wildlife can be easily seen due to the crater’s unique enclosed ecosystem. The Ngorongoro Crater is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful safari highlights in Tanzania, as it is a self-sustaining environment where animals do not need to migrate in search of food or water.

After lunch, Safari Soul Journey continues with an afternoon game drive before ascending the crater in the late afternoon. You will then proceed to Lake Eyasi National Park for your accommodation at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge, where you can relax and unwind while preparing for the next day.

For those interested, there is an optional evening canoeing experience on the lake, offering a peaceful way to enjoy a stunning sunset over the water.

On this day, Safari Soul Journey will start very early in the morning as you head to Lake Eyasi, home to the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes, who continue to live their ancient lifestyle of hunting, gathering, and pastoralism.

A visit with Safari Soul Journey offers a rare and personal insight into the daily life of these communities. You may be invited into their villages and homes, where you will learn about their family structures and traditions. The experience may also include participating in traditional dances, bead-making activities with the Datoga women, and learning about their craftsmanship.

With Safari Soul Journey, you can also join the Hadzabe tribesmen on a traditional small game hunting experience, observe how they make bows and arrows, and gain a deeper understanding of one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer cultures in Africa.

You'll be picked up from your hotel at 8:00 am and start a beautiful journey across the Great Rift Valley for a full-day game drive. Although small in dimension (205 sq miles), the park has breathtaking scenery and is well famous for its lush acacia forest, giant figs and mahogany trees. It is also home to a growing population of baboons and blue monkeys. Permanent residents of this park also include giraffes, elephants, impalas and a huge number of buffaloes. The lake is also home to a large number of hippos. The landscapes of Lake Manyara are something that can not be described in words. The game drives along the lake provide stunning photo opportunities of giraffes and buffaloes in the foreground and the lake in the background.
