Fly today via light aircraft from Arusha Airport to the Tarangire region. Your guide will be waiting at the airstrip to transfer you to your camp. Day 6: Scenic Drive to Ngorongoro & Crater Descent

After an early breakfast in Tarangire, we’ll set off on a beautiful 3–4 hour drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey takes you through charming local villages, fertile highlands, and scenic coffee plantations, offering glimpses of everyday life in northern Tanzania.

Upon arrival at Ngorongoro Crater, you’ll descend into the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera—often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” This natural amphitheater is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard), as well as flamingos, hippos, hyenas, jackals, and more.
