Day 01 :

Pick up from the airport

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), a friendly staff member from African Dream Trails safari will be there to welcome you. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Arusha, where you can relax after your journey. In the evening, you will have a safari briefing with African Dream Trails safari, where our team will go over your itinerary, answer any questions, and ensure you are well-prepared for your adventure. Get a good night’s rest—your unforgettable African Dream Trails safari begins tomorrow.

Day 02 :

Arusha to Tarangire

We will pick you up from your hotel at 7:30am and after being familiar with your guide and chef from African Dream Trails safari, we will drive to Tarangire National Park (2-hour drive), a key destination in African Dream Trails safari, famous for its diverse landscape. The park is particularly known for its abundance of ancient baobab trees and having the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country, offering unique chances to observe elephant family interactions.

During this African Dream Trails safari experience, we will enjoy a game drive through the park depending on reported wildlife sightings, especially predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, which are harder to spot, while herbivores like giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras are commonly seen throughout the park.

Later, we will head to the Tarangire River picnic site and enjoy the beautiful view of the river and animals while having lunch. Small monkeys and baboons may try to approach your food, but there is nothing to worry about. After lunch, we will continue with an afternoon game drive as part of your African Dream Trails safari, and later head to our accommodation for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 03 :

Tarangire to Serengeti

After breakfast, you will enjoy an early morning game drive in Tarangire National Park as part of your African Dream Trails safari, before exiting and proceeding to Serengeti. The drive takes approximately 6 hours (including all stops) as it transits through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

During your African Dream Trails safari, you will briefly stop at the gate and viewpoint to admire the breathtaking view of the Ngorongoro Crater for a maximum of 20 minutes. You will also have the option to visit a Maasai village, which is an optional activity and not included in the price. This cultural experience takes about 20–45 minutes, with an entrance fee of 10 USD.

Serengeti National Park
You will arrive in the late afternoon and continue your African Dream Trails safari with a game drive in Seronera (central Serengeti) until late evening. Here, you will experience the magical Serengeti sunset while observing wild animals up close. If lucky, you may witness predators hunting or making a kill. After the game drive, you will head to Seronera campsite for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 04 :

Serengeti game drive to Ngorongoro

Start your day with an early morning game drive in the Serengeti as part of your African Dream Trails safari, taking advantage of the cooler hours when wildlife is most active. As the sun rises over the endless plains, this African Dream Trails safari experience gives you a chance to witness predators on the hunt, herds grazing peacefully, and a variety of birdlife welcoming the new day.

After a rewarding morning of exploration on your African Dream Trails safari, you will begin your journey toward Ngorongoro, enjoying a scenic drive through the southern Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

In the afternoon, arrive at Ngorongoro Crater. Here, you'll continue your African Dream Trails safari by settling in for the night with panoramic views and a refreshing highland breeze. The campsite offers basic but authentic accommodations, allowing you to fall asleep under the stars surrounded by nature, ready for an early descent into the crater the next day.

Ngorongoro Crater game drive
