Day 2: Game Drive in Tarangire National Park
Fly today via light aircraft from Arusha Airport to the Tarangire region. Your guide will be waiting at the airstrip to transfer you to your camp. Watch out for your first glimpse of wildlife

Tarangire is Famous for its towering baobab trees, sweeping savannahs, and the largest elephant population in Tanzania, Tarangire offers incredible opportunities to observe elephant herds up close, along with diverse wildlife like giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and more.
Upon arrival, you’ll begin your first game drive, guided by the latest wildlife sightings. While spotting predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards may take a bit of luck, the park’s rich ecosystem ensures a rewarding safari experience throughout.
At midday, we’ll break for a picnic lunch at the Tarangire River, where panoramic views and passing wildlife create a memorable dining experience—complete with curious baboons and monkeys adding a playful touch to the moment.
After a relaxed afternoon game drive, you’ll return to your lodge or camp to freshen up and enjoy an early dinner. Then, prepare for a special treat: an exciting night game drive. This unique experience allows you to witness Tarangire’s nocturnal wildlife—from bush babies and genets to lions on the prowl—as the bush transforms under the moonlight.

Day 3: Full-Day Safari Adventure
After breakfast, spend the day deepening your exploration of Tarangire’s varied habitats. Your guide will lead you through lesser-traveled routes in search of fresh wildlife activity, from elephants cooling off in the river to predators on the hunt.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush, surrounded by nature, and continue your game drive into the afternoon. Return to camp in the evening to relax, share stories around the fire, and enjoy another delicious meal under the stars.

Day 4: Sunrise Game Drive & Departure
Wake up early for a sunrise game drive, when the park is alive with activity and the golden light creates stunning photo opportunities. After one last breakfast back at Lodge

Day 5: Leisure & Relaxation in the Highlands

After several days of exciting game drives, today is all about rest and rejuvenation. Wake up at your own pace and soak in the tranquil atmosphere of the crater highlands.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast with panoramic views, take a stroll through the lodge’s gardens or surrounding nature trails, or simply relax on the terrace with a book or a warm cup of Tanzanian coffee. Some lodges also offer spa services or cultural visits to nearby Maasai villages, should you wish to explore further.

Day 6: Scenic Drive to Ngorongoro & Crater Descent

After an early breakfast in Tarangire, we’ll set off on a beautiful 3–4 hour drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey takes you through charming local villages, fertile highlands, and scenic coffee plantations, offering glimpses of everyday life in northern Tanzania.

Upon arrival at Ngorongoro Crater, you’ll descend into the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera—often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” This natural amphitheater is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard), as well as flamingos, hippos, hyenas, jackals, and more.

Enjoy a full day of game viewing on the crater floor, with a picnic lunch surrounded by nature. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking—from acacia-studded savannahs to sparkling soda lakes. Late in the afternoon, we’ll ascend the crater walls and head to your lodge for a relaxing evening, a hearty dinner, and a peaceful night overlooking the rim or surrounding highlands.
