Day 01 :

Pick up from the airport

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), a friendly staff member from Serengeti Landmark Tours will be there to welcome you for your Big Five Safari experience. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Arusha, where you can relax after your journey and prepare for your Big Five Safari adventure.

In the evening, you will have a safari briefing for your Big Five Safari, where our team will go over your itinerary, answer any questions, and ensure you are well-prepared for your adventure. Get a good night’s rest—your unforgettable safari begins tomorrow.

Day 02 :

Arusha to Tarangire

We will pick you up from your hotel at 7:30am for your Big Five Safari, and after being introduced to your guide and chef, we will drive to Tarangire National Park (approximately 2 hours). This Big Five Safari takes you to a park famous for its diverse landscape, especially the ancient baobab trees and the largest concentration of elephants in Tanzania, making it a key highlight of your Big Five Safari experience.

During this Big Five Safari, we will enjoy a game drive through the park depending on reported wildlife sightings. You may spot predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as they are more challenging to find, while herbivores like giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras are commonly seen throughout this Big Five Safari journey.

Later, on your Big Five Safari, we will head to the Tarangire River picnic site to enjoy lunch with a beautiful view of the river and wildlife. Small monkeys and baboons may try to approach your lunch, but there is nothing to worry about during your Big Five Safari experience.

After lunch, we will continue with the game drive as part of your Big Five Safari, and later head to your accommodation for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 03 :

Ngorongoro crater game drive

Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Arusha Region
After an early breakfast will descend the crater (6:15 am) on a journey to find the black rhino, rhinos are the hardest to spot in the beautiful crater as most animals will be easier to spot from this park due to it being floor crater. After lunch will do a game drive and ascend the crater to camp and pack for the trip to airport
