We will pick you up from your hotel at 7:30am and after being familiar with your guide and chef, we will drive to Tarangire National Park (2-hour drive), as part of your Great Migration safari experience through Tanzania’s northern circuit. The park is famous for its diverse landscapes and is particularly known for its abundance of ancient baobab trees and having the largest concentration of elephants in the country, offering unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families during your Great Migration safari journey.
We will do a game drive through the park depending on reported animal sightings (mostly predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, which are harder to spot), while herbivores like giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras are plenty to see across the park—making your Great Migration safari even more rewarding.
Later, we will head to the Tarangire River picnic site and enjoy the beautiful view of the river and wildlife while having lunch. Small monkeys and baboons may try to “steal” your lunch, but there is nothing to worry about. After lunch, we will continue with an afternoon game drive before heading to your accommodation for dinner and overnight rest, continuing your unforgettable Great Migration safari adventure.

Along the way, you will briefly stop at the gate and viewpoint to enjoy the breathtaking view of the Ngorongoro Crater for a maximum of 20 minutes. You may also visit a Maasai village (optional), which offers a cultural experience during your Great Migration safari. The visit takes about 20–45 minutes, and the entrance fee is USD 10.
