Pick Up from the Airport

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), a friendly staff member from Serengeti Landmark Tours will be there to welcome you. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Arusha, where you can relax after your journey. Day 02 :

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Tarangire is a hidden gem of Tanzania — known for its vast elephant herds, dramatic baobab trees, and rich biodiversity. During your game drive, you’ll explore the scenic savannah and riverine woodlands in search of wildlife like lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and over 500 bird species.
The Tarangire River, which runs through the park, attracts animals year-round, especially in the dry season (June to October), making this one of the best spots in East Africa to observe wildlife up close. Your professional guide will share insights into the park’s ecosystem, animal behaviors, and hidden viewing spots for a truly enriching safari experience.

Night Game Drive

Day 03 :

Tarangire early morning game

After an early breakfast you will start a sunrise game drive in the Tarangire, enjoying this beautiful park in the morning when it is less crowded & more wildlife activity around the late am you will exit the park & head to mto wa mbu where you will have lunch, relax & continue with a biking tour in mto wa mbu visiting waterfalls, banana & rice plantations before returning to fanaka lodge for overningt.

Day 04 :

Mto wa mbu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will drive from Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti which takes 6 hours (including all stops) as it transits through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Stop at: Ngorongoro Crater
Duration: 20 minutes

You'll make an optional (price not included) visit to a Maasai village and explore the culture of the great Maasai tribe. They are known for chasing lions off their kill, hunting lions to be considered a warrior, and drinking raw animal blood. Though these traditions are thing of the past with exception of drinking blood, you can surely learn something. Many clients opt against it. Duration: 20-45 minutes, Entrance is $USD10 – 20.

Serengeti National Park
Arrive late in the afternoon and do a game drive in Seronera (the center of Serengeti) until late in the evening. Experience the sunset in Serengeti while having a close view of wild animals. If you're lucky enough, see a predator hunting or on a kill. Later, head to Seronera Campsite.

Day 05 :

Serengeti National Park

On this day, you will go to the wider parts of the Serengeti south/east/west depending on wildlife movements. After an early breakfast, go on an early game drive. We will later have lunch and continue with the game drive till evening. Then return to the campsite for dinner and your overnight stay. Note: Animals can be spotted in campsites.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you will go on an early game drive seeing a lot of animals till the afternoon when you will head to the camp for lunch and packing. Have a game drive while we exit the Serengeti heading to Simba Campsite (2 hours drive) near the rim of Ngorongoro Crater. Note: Animals can be spotted on campsites.

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you will descend the crater at 6:15 am, on a journey to find the black rhino. Rhinos are the hardest to spot in the beautiful crater as most animals will be easier to spot from this park due to it being a floor crater. After lunch, have a game drive and ascend the crater to the camp and pack for the trip back to Arusha.

Materuni water falls and chemka
