Day 01 :

Pick up from the airport

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), a friendly staff member from Serengeti Landmark Tours will be there to welcome you and begin your Serengeti Migration adventure experience. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Arusha, where you can relax after your journey and prepare for the Serengeti Migration safari ahead.

In the evening, you will have a safari briefing, where our team will go over your itinerary, answer any questions, and ensure you are well-prepared for your Serengeti Migration adventure. Get a good night’s rest—your unforgettable safari begins tomorrow.

Day 02 :

Arusha to Tarangire

We will pick you up from your hotel at 7:30am and after meeting your guide and chef, we will begin your journey toward Tarangire National Park (about 2 hours’ drive), marking the start of your Serengeti Migration safari experience in northern Tanzania. Famous for its diverse landscape, Tarangire is well known for its ancient baobab trees and the largest concentration of elephants in the country, offering a perfect introduction to the Serengeti Migration circuit.

We will enjoy a full game drive through the park depending on reported wildlife sightings, with opportunities to see predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as abundant herbivores like giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras. This forms an important part of your Serengeti Migration journey as Tarangire connects key wildlife ecosystems in northern Tanzania.

Later, we will stop at the Tarangire River picnic site to enjoy lunch with a beautiful view of the river and wildlife. Small monkeys and baboons may try to get your attention, but there is nothing to worry about. After lunch, we continue with the game drive before heading to your accommodation for dinner and overnight rest, continuing your unforgettable Serengeti Migration safari experience.

Day 03 :

Tarangire to Serengeti

After breakfast, you will do an early game drive in Tarangire as you exit and proceed to Serengeti which takes 6 hours (including all stops) as it transits through the Ngorongoro conservation area. Will briefly stop at the gate and viewpoint to look at the breathtaking view of the crater for, a maximum of 20 minutes. Also, you will visit Maasai village, it's optional to visit and it will take 20-45 minutes. Entrance is 10usd. This is an optional visit not included in the price

Arrive in the late afternoon and do a game drive in Seronera (center of Serengeti) to late evening and experience the sunset in Serengeti while having a close view of wild animals lucky enough to see a predator hunting or on a kill, later heading to Seronera campsite.

Day 04 :

Serengeti national park (Following the migration)

Serengeti game drive to Ngorongoro

Start your day with an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, taking advantage of the cooler hours when wildlife is most active. As the sun rises over the endless plains, you’ll have a chance to witness predators on the hunt, herds grazing peacefully, and a variety of birdlife welcoming the new day. After a rewarding morning of exploration, you’ll begin your journey toward Ngorongoro, enjoying a scenic drive through the southern Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

In the afternoon, arrive at Simba Campsite, located on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. Here, you'll settle in for the night with panoramic views and a refreshing highland breeze. The campsite offers basic but authentic accommodations, allowing you to fall asleep under the stars surrounded by nature, ready for an early descent into the crater the next day.

Ngorongoro Crater game drive
