Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), a friendly staff member from Nomadic Nature Expedition will be there to warmly welcome you. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Arusha, where you can relax after your journey. In the evening, you will have a safari briefing with the Nomadic Nature Expedition team, who will go over your itinerary, answer any questions, and ensure you are fully prepared for your adventure. You will be picked up from your hotel at 8:00 am by the Nomadic Nature Expedition team. After a short introduction to your guide, chef, and fellow travelers, you will begin your journey to Tarangire National Park, a scenic 2-hour drive. With Nomadic Nature Expedition, you will explore this incredible park, famous for its diverse landscapes, iconic ancient baobab trees, and the largest concentration of elephants in Tanzania. This offers a unique opportunity to observe close interactions between elephant families in their natural habitat.

During your game drive with Nomadic Nature Expedition, you will follow reported wildlife sightings, increasing your chances of spotting predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, which are often harder to find. The park is also rich in herbivores, including giraffes, wildebeests, and zebras, making wildlife viewing constant and exciting.

Later, you will head to the Tarangire River picnic site, where you can enjoy lunch while taking in beautiful views of the river and surrounding wildlife. Playful monkeys and baboons may try to approach, but there is no need for concern. After lunch, you will continue your game drive with Nomadic Nature Expedition before exiting the park at around 4:30 pm, concluding a rewarding first day of your safari adventure.

After breakfast at 8:30 am, you will depart from Mto wa Mbu with Nomadic Nature Expedition and begin your scenic journey to Serengeti National Park. The drive takes approximately 6 hours (including stops) as you pass through the beautiful Ngorongoro Conservation Area, offering stunning landscapes along the way.

Along the route, there is an optional visit to a Maasai village (not included in the package). This cultural experience with Nomadic Nature Expedition allows you to learn about the traditions of the Maasai tribe, historically known for their warrior practices and unique lifestyle. While some traditions have evolved over time, you can still gain valuable insights into their culture. The visit typically lasts about 20 minutes and costs approximately $20 per person. Many travelers choose to skip it, but it remains a meaningful optional experience.

Upon arrival in Serengeti National Park in the late afternoon, you will enjoy an exciting game drive in the Seronera area (central Serengeti), one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. With Nomadic Nature Expedition, you will explore the vast plains while experiencing a breathtaking Serengeti sunset surrounded by wildlife. If you are lucky, you may witness a predator in action or feeding on a recent kill, making this an unforgettable highlight of your safari adventure.

After an early breakfast at 6:30 am, you will set out on an early morning game drive with Nomadic Nature Expedition, one of the best times to witness wildlife activity as predators are often still active and the savannah is alive with movement. You will enjoy incredible sightings throughout the morning until early afternoon.

Later, you will return to camp for lunch and packing before continuing with a final game drive in Serengeti as you begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. With Nomadic Nature Expedition, you will drive toward Simba Campsite, located near the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater (approximately 2 hours drive). Upon arrival, you can relax and enjoy the stunning views from the crater rim while preparing for the next day’s adventure.

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater at 6:15 am with Nomadic Nature Expedition on a game drive focused on spotting the rare black rhino. These magnificent animals are the most difficult to find within the crater, while many other species are easier to see due to the open nature of the crater floor, which offers excellent wildlife visibility.

With Nomadic Nature Expedition, you will explore this wildlife-rich environment, home to lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, and more, all within one of Africa’s most unique ecosystems. Around midday, you will stop for lunch at a designated picnic site inside the crater, surrounded by breathtaking scenery.

After lunch, you will continue with a short game drive before ascending from the crater floor at حوالي 12:45 pm. You will then return to camp to pack your belongings and begin your journey back to Arusha town with Nomadic Nature Expedition, marking the end of your unforgettable safari experience.
